The Drill and Blast Engineer will provide drill and blast technical and engineering support to an operating open cut mine. Liaising closely with the drill and blast teams you will ensure design and schedules are implemented to maximise the coal recovery. Well supported with modern technology, you will provide reporting to management on blasting performance.

To be successful in this role you will be a degree qualified Mining Engineer ideally with short term Planning and Drill and Blast exposure. Candidates currently working as a Drill and Blast Engineer or Supervisor who want further development and exposure to challenging or new operations are encouraged to apply.
