Service Centre Branch Manager 

Our Leading Client is a global business with sales, service and manufacturing locations throughout the world. This International firm, trading for over a century, is seeking an energetic S ervice Centre Branch Manager. The core remit of the role is to oversee their Newcastle Operations to including profitable sales output, P&L, OH&SE, management and sustainable business development.

The Service Centre Branch Manager will be responsible for the following:-  

·                     To manage a small established team  

·                     To expand the Service Centre Operation in terms of sales revenues, headcount and market share 

·                     To manage and control the Service Centre P&L and maintain within budget 

·                     Improve margins via strategic costings, initiatives and practices 

·                     Maximise company resources including staff, facility capabilities and vertical market opportunities 

·                     Direct reports include Sales staff, Customer Service staff, Administration and Technician/engineering staff 

·                     To co-ordinate the implementation of OH&SE related working practices 

·                     To ensure that Group processes and procedures are adhered  

·                     To promote teamwork within the Newcastle Service Centre and develop an environment of continuous improvement.  

·                     To optimise workflow and Service Centre Outputs

You will report directly to a Company Director. Applicants must have a technical/engineering background along with proven experience at manager level. This role will suit an autonomous Business Manager that is focused, methodical, motivational, sales and customer service focused and hands on in all aspects of the business. Our client works within the marine, food, defence, oil & gas and mining sectors and is looking to expand their market share within the NSW area. The business has been trading in the NSW for many years but has recently invested in a bigger and more state of the art facility.
